Camera Focus
Want monitoring without the rest of the dashboard? You can do that too.
Camera Focus turns BarnPilot into a dedicated horse monitoring workspace. Open straight into the cameras, see which horses and stalls are active, check Watcher status, review alerts, and start a Sentinel session without moving through the full equestrian command center.
- A focused camera dashboardLive views, monitoring status, and alerts stay together.
- Built for monitoring-only useYou do not have to use every BarnPilot workflow to use the cameras.
- Live, Watcher, and SentinelMove from looking in to everyday monitoring or a user-defined heightened watch.

2One view. Three ways to use it.
Look in now. Let Watcher follow the routine. Tell Sentinel exactly what matters.
BarnPilot connects the camera to your horse workflow. You remain in control of the camera, the horses assigned to it, and every special Sentinel instruction.
Live camera
See the stall for yourself.
Open the live feed on the iPhone that securely paired the camera. Make small pan and tilt adjustments to change the view, turn automatic infrared night vision on or off, and flip the image for an upside-down mount.
- Live view on the paired iPhone
- Four-direction pan and tilt
- Automatic infrared night vision
Watcher Standard
Everyday monitoring, without watching all day.
Watcher uses camera-powered updates for routine care and notable visible activity. It is built for everyday awareness around feeding, stall cleaning, turnout, and the patterns that make up a normal barn day.
- Included for one camera with Pro
- Reconnects automatically if interrupted
- Assign several horses to one camera
Enhanced Protocol
Your concern. Your words. Your watch.
Sentinel is not a generic alert switch. You describe the situation and write the exact visible condition or behavior you want BarnPilot to watch for during one heightened 24-hour session.
- You choose the camera
- You define the exact instruction
- Every visible match can trigger an alert
The Law of the Sentinel
Sentinel watches what you tell it to watch.
You set Sentinel. You choose the camera, explain the situation, and state the exact visible behavior that matters. For a colic watch or foaling monitoring session, your words define the visible condition BarnPilot should evaluate. Your instruction becomes the law for that session.
- 1Choose the camera
Select the view where the horse can be seen.
- 2Describe the situation
Give BarnPilot the context for the heightened watch.
- 3Write exactly what to watch for
Use a specific, visible condition or behavior. This becomes the Law of the Sentinel.
- 4Confirm and activate
The heightened monitoring schedule runs for 24 hours and may send more notifications than Standard.
Sentinel
My horse is under observation after possible colic signs.
Notify me whenever my horse is visibly lying down.
Your words become the Law of the Sentinel.I confirm these are my monitoring instructions.
Sentinel evaluates visible still images against your exact instruction. It does not diagnose conditions, replace veterinary care, or guarantee detection. Contact a veterinarian for medical concerns or emergencies.
Supported hardware
Built into BarnPilot, not bolted on afterward.
The Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro is specifically supported inside the BarnPilot app. The onboarding process identifies the camera, joins it to the barn network, secures its private connection, and prepares it for BarnPilot monitoring.

Let BarnPilot go to workOur proprietary configuration sequence secures the connection and prepares Watcher and Sentinel.
Most smart cameras stop at live view and generic motion notifications. BarnPilot turns supported hardware into an equestrian monitoring system: Watcher follows routine visible barn activity, while Sentinel evaluates the exact visible condition the user writes for a heightened 24-hour session.
Camera hardware is purchased separately. Hardware prices and availability are set by the retailer and may change.

Camera questions
Clear answers before you connect.
Does BarnPilot decide what Sentinel watches?
No. You choose the camera, describe the situation, and write the exact visible condition or behavior. Those words become the monitoring instruction for that 24-hour session.
Does the camera work at night?
Yes. The supported camera has automatic infrared night vision for low-light viewing. You can also turn infrared completely off in camera settings.
Can I move the camera from BarnPilot?
Yes. The live camera view includes four-direction pan and tilt controls. Each press makes a small adjustment to help you look around the stall or aisle.
Is camera monitoring included with BarnPilot Pro?
Pro includes one monitored camera. Each additional monitored camera costs $19.99 per month, with support for up to four cameras in this release.
Is Sentinel veterinary monitoring?
No. Sentinel does not diagnose, replace veterinary care, or guarantee detection. Contact a veterinarian for medical concerns or emergencies.
Can Sentinel support colic watch or foaling monitoring?
Sentinel can provide heightened horse monitoring for a user-defined visible condition, such as notifying you when a horse is visibly lying down during a colic watch or when visible signs of foaling have begun. It does not diagnose colic, predict birth, replace in-person observation, or replace veterinary care.
