BarnPilot provides a direct marketplace, not a purchase guarantee. We still take credible welfare, fraud, disclosure, and seller eligibility concerns seriously.
Our review standard
A report never removes a horse automatically. It emails the BarnPilot administrator with the listing link, the signed-in reporter's identity, the reason, and their written explanation. The seller does not receive the reporter's identity.
Horse welfare or suspected abuse
Fraud, attempted fraud, or a suspicious transaction
Concealed veterinary or material health information
Materially inaccurate listing information
Seller eligibility, SafeSport, federation, or legal concern

Seller requirements
Sellers provide their full name, role, address, verified email address, and telephone number. Contact details remain private from public visitors and are revealed only to signed-in BarnPilot account holders.
Eligibility
Sellers with relevant federation, SafeSport, legal, welfare, fraud, or marketplace violations may be denied. BarnPilot may request more information, contact the seller, hide the listing during review, or remove it.
Buyer responsibility
Buyers should speak directly with the seller, verify identity, review records, use qualified professionals, arrange an independent pre-purchase examination, and never send funds solely because a listing appears on BarnPilot.
